Crossing

Travel for me has been a pathway to traverse a larger path. The myriad of trips from Australia to Northern Europe to learn my craft has been instrumental in my understanding of glass as a material and in forming my aesthetic.

Crossing is a traverse of experiences, exploring inspirations that come from the diverse landscapes and cultures that you experience when traveling. It is an exploration of the landscape, understanding the subtle differences that are unique to both and how they can be interpreted in glass.

By interpreting these landscapes across a variety of forms and surfaces using photographic imagery I aim to create a translation that is both personal and unique.
