JEREMY KIRWAN-WARD

Jeremy is a painter and sculptor who has been exhibiting since 1971. He has held numerous solo shows in Western Australia, primarily - over the past decade - through Perth Galleries. His work is held in collections including Artbank, the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the National Gallery of Australia, the National Gallery of Scotland, the Holmes á Court Collection and the Kerry Stokes Collection as well as university collections nationally and in corporate and private collections in Australia, the UK, the USA and India.

John Stringer, in Artists in Residence, comments that "...his paintings are infused with emotion, mood and atmosphere, emphasising spiritual and ethereal qualities that have no discernible relationship with recognisably local motifs".
